Overcoming Addictions…

ARE YOU AN ADDICT? ???????????

Today in meditation I got told I have let some of my addictions get out of hand and that I need to go on a 7 Day Fast to reverse them.

OVERCOMING ADDICTIONS HAS BEEN A BIG PART OF MY JOURNEY SINCE MY SPIRITUAL AWAKENING IN 2016.

I used to be addicted to and/or obsessive about:

?? Coffee
? Alcohol
?? Junk Food
?? Dairy
???Meat
? Sugar
? Television Shows
? P*rn
? Ejaculation
? Bread/Gluten
? Chasing Success
?? Lifting Weights / Looking Good
? Scrolling Social Media
? Computer Games

When I connected with my Spiritual Side in 2016 and learned to receive and listen to the guidance, I learned that many of these things were sabotaging my Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Health.

They were escape mechanisms because it felt scary to be present with the feelings and emotions that I was trying to avoid.

I was trapped in a cycle of feeding these addictions as I was terrified of the detox process and having to face my unresolved traumas and Ego sabotage programs.

SPIRIT TOLD ME THAT IF I WANTED THE STRONGEST CONNECTION, I HAD TO CLEAR MY PHYSICAL VESSEL AND STOP POISONING MY BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT.

SO I DECIDED TO COMMIT TO FASTING AND FACING MY ADDICTIONS.

Over the past 7 years I can proudly say that I have overcome my addictions to Alcohol, Coffee, Sugar, Dairy, Meat, Bread, P*rn, Ejaculation, Chasing Success, Computer Games, Needing to Look Good and Junk Food.

I AM A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON TO WHO I WAS IN 2015!

Today I got told I need to tackle my addiction to TV and Scrolling Social Media as I am wasting a huge portion of my Life Energy on these things.

Real Talk… I probably spend 2 to 3 hours most days watching TV Shows or Scrolling Social Media. Some days that could be 3 to 4 hours. If I’m not feeling my best, I have Binge watched an entire TV Series in a day.

THAT MIGHT MEAN I WATCH 8 to 10 HOURS OF TV IN A DAY! ?

Please don’t mistake this as me being hard on myself… I am an incredibly connected and productive person and when I’m not giving into these addictions I am super focused on raising my levels of Consciousness and creating content that helps others to do the same.

IT IS JUST TOO EASY TO USE TV AND SOCIAL MEDIA TO ESCAPE REALITY.

SO FOR THE NEXT 7 DAYS I WILL NOT WATCH ANY TV OR SCROLL HOLE ON SOCIAL MEDIA! ?

I WILL ALSO NOT EAT AFTER 6PM.

THAT IS MY COMMITMENT!

I started this today and already spent more time playing my guitar; journalling; had a Cacao Ceremony with my daughter; we did arts and crafts; I helped create an Abundance event on 3rd September in London; I followed up with some clients about doing 1on1 Spiritual Mentorship sessions; I did some Spring Cleaning… and it is only 9pm! ?

I felt inspired to wrote this post! And will wind down for bed soon with some reading/studying either around Human Design; listening to Wayne Dyer or Eckhart Tolle; or I might read a Harry Potter book ?

My intention for this post is to help highlight Addiction and the many ways it can be sabotaging our lives.
